Jim Corbett Weekend Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Corbett National Park(260 km, 6-7 hour drive)
Starting early from Delhi you can visit Grahmukteshwar which is a famous Hindu pilgrimage where devotees take a dip in the Holy Ganges. You can relax in your resort after the long drive to Corbett and lunch. Post lunch you can take a trip to the scenic Corbett falls. The green of the dense teak forests invites you towards the lagoon filled with clear, cool water from the Corbett fall. Drive back to the hotel, relax in your luxurious room or take a dip in the clear waters of the swimming pool. Have a relaxing dinner and take a nap for another fun-filled day ahead.
Day 02: Corbett National Park
Forest is calling you to see the wild animals in their natural surroundings. Early morning 3 hours jeep safari with a safari naturalist ensures that you get profound knowledge about the flora and fauna of the Corbett tiger reserve (CTR). With luck, you might be able to spot the elusive royal Bengal tiger, sloth bear or leopard on your safari. Post safari, you can gorge on the sumptuous breakfast in resort. At your leisure you can visit the nearby Garjiyamata temple, Corbett museum or enjoy at the banks of river Kosi post breakfast or in the evening. You can also opt for an afternoon safari if you are a hard-core wildlife enthusiast. Dinner at resort with sound sleep ends your 2nd day in Corbett.
Day 03: Corbett National Park – Delhi
Depending on your enthusiasm for nature and time at hand, you can opt for either a nature walk or if safari permits can be arranged, a morning safari to CTR. Breakfast is followed by checkout from the resort.
